Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible to provide expert support on UAE Corporate Tax, Pillar Two, Transfer Pricing, Withholding Tax and other taxes to ensure compliance, strengthen governance, and enable timely business decisions. He/she will provide expert technical guidance on the interpretation and application of UAE tax legislation, oversee accurate tax reporting, maintain robust tax governance and documentation, and serve as the primary liaison with the Government Authorities.

Result Areas
  • Assist with preparation and submission of corporate tax return, transfer pricing filings and other tax filings on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end tax compliance processes, including provisions and audit responses, ensuring all submissions are technically robust and audit ready.
  • Proactively identify intra-group transactions, assess transfer pricing compliance, and address gaps to ensure alignment with UAE and international Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) standards along with developing transfer pricing policies and maintaining Transfer Pricing documentation
  • Draft formal requests for tax interpretations and prepare robust responses to queries and notices from the Government authority.
  • Minimize tax penalties, manage tax assessments, perform health checks and ensure all tax positions are technically robust and audit ready.
  • Develop, monitor, and enhance functional procedures and processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and consistency.
  • Provide tax advisory support by analyzing transactions, prepare well-substantiated tax positions, monitor legislative changes, assess the impact on the business, share such updates with management and propose/implement responses as appropriate.
  • Drive efficiency in UAE tax compliance processes, maintain effective controls and documentation, support IT system updates for tax changes(E-invoicing), and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand transactions, provide tax guidance, hold trainings, and support compliant practices.
  • Provide support to Group Tax projects/initiatives and assist on ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Job Context

    The job holder is responsible for effective execution and continuous improvement of tax compliance processes while enabling business growth, including assistance with international market entry and foreign transactional tax requirements. As the UAE’s tax landscape continues to evolve with new and increasingly complex regulatory requirements, the role helps strengthen controls, improve data management, and drive process automation in collaboration with key stakeholders.

    The role also provides ongoing operational guidance to the business, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant tax processes.

    Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience Education Qualification
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or Professional qualifications as a CA, CPA, ACCA, or ADIT.
    Work Experience
    • Minimum 6 years of taxation experience with exposure to Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and OECD BEPS guidelines
    • Good understanding of the Tax Laws and Regulations and experience in proactively managing new developments.
