Collection Officer

Job Summary:

The Collection Officer is responsible for managing receivables, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, maintaining healthy cash flow, and reducing bad debts. The role involves close coordination with sales, finance, and clients ( HORECA & RETAIL).

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
• Follow up on overdue invoices via phone calls, emails.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
• Prepare aging reports and daily/weekly collection status reports.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding credit limits and payment terms.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies.
• Escalate high-risk accounts to the superior.
• Support month-end closing by ensuring receivables are up to date.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
• Experience in Food & Beverages trading or FMCG industry preferred
• Familiarity with credit control procedures
• Preferably Arabic Speaker

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes
• Ability to handle difficult customers professionally
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Time management and target-driven mindset
