We are seeking a senior and experienced Business Manager to join the Payments Team in UAE. This is a crucial role which will drive partnerships with top issuing banks in UAE and schemes to increase cardholders’ activity through promotional campaigns (discounts) and credit card installments, in addition to growing Amazon credit cards in UAE. This role is based out of Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the issuance banks in UAE, directly or through schemes.
- Identify propositions during events that drive new CoF, increase AOV per cardholder, and CoF re‑activations.
- Own UAE target of total discounts raised.
- Drive credit card installments, and negotiate agreements with issuing banks.
- Grow Amazon credit cards (acquisition and lifecycle management).
- Collect partner feedback and insights, and define actionable improvements.
- Track program health, budget utilization and conduct business reporting to internal and partner leadership.
- Define monthly/quarterly/yearly business plans with key partners.
- Drive program success through effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams, such as product, marketing, operations, finance etc.
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience working in a fast‑moving consumer business.
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level.
- MBA.
- 6+ years of experience in payments industry, preferably managing credit/debit card portfolio and the acquiring charter.
- 6+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience in managing credit/debit card portfolio spend and acquiring space.
