Finance Executive

Job Brief

The Finance Executive will support the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS standards, and effective financial controls. The role will work closely with Operations, Procurement, and senior management to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making in a fast-growing sustainability technology environment.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure timely month-end and year-end close.
• Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and internal policies.

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and expense control.

• Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and documentation.
• Support the implementation of finance systems, tools, or ERP solutions where applicable.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within finance and cross-functional workflows.

• Work closely with Operations, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure financial accuracy of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
• Provide financial support for sustainability-related projects, grants, or funding initiatives where applicable.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS standards.
• 4+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably within technology, sustainability, engineering, or project-based environments.
• Experience working in the UAE or familiarity with UAE VAT and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in sustainability, clean technology, or ESG-driven organizations.
• Exposure to multi-entity or international reporting.
