Chief Executive Officer

Overview

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join as Co-Founder and CEO/GM
, taking full ownership of Zamanat's growth from inception through global scale. This is a rare opportunity to build a category-defining financial institution at the intersection of Islamic finance, blockchain infrastructure, and institutional capital markets. This role carries full executive responsibility for strategy, growth, governance, and performance.

The CEO/GM will be accountable for building Zamanat into a globally credible, institution‑grade investment bank driving asset sourcing and AUM growth, establishing distribution and liquidity channels, cultivating deep institutional relationships, shaping the brand and narrative, and assembling a high‑calibre team capable of executing at scale.

• VC, Real Estate, Secondaries, and adjacent asset classes.
• Build and manage a robust AUM growth pipeline across regions and investor segments.
• Structure products that balance Sharia compliance, institutional standards, and market competitiveness.

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute Zamanat's vision, go-to-market strategy, and long-term roadmap
• Own the P&L and drive the company toward sustainable profitability and scale
• Shape the narrative and positioning of Zamanat within both traditional finance and Web3 ecosystems

Capital & AUM Growth

• Lead sourcing efforts to build AUM across tokenized asset classes
• Develop and manage relationships with family offices, institutional investors, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and HNWI/UHNWI networks
• Structure and oversee tokenization of deals across PE, VC, real estate, and secondary transactions

Distribution & Partnerships

• Build distribution channels across MENA, Asia, Europe, and North America
• Establish strategic partnerships with custodians, exchanges, fund administrators, and regulatory bodies
• Drive institutional adoption and navigate multi-chain deployment strategy as the platform scales

Brand & Market Presence

• Serve as the public face of Zamanat, representing the company with investors, partners, regulators, and media
• Build credibility and trust within both Islamic finance and digital asset communities

Team & Organization

• Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class team across investment, operations, technology, and compliance
• Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation

• 12–15+ years in investment banking, private equity, or private wealth/private banking
• Track record at globally recognized institutions or leading regional firms
• Demonstrated experience in deal origination, capital raising, and institutional relationship management
• Exposure to alternative assets, fund structures, and/or secondary markets strongly preferred

• Deep understanding of institutional investor requirements and capital allocation processes
• Interest and understanding around digital assets as well as how the industry is evolving.
• Familiarity with Sharia-compliant finance principles and structures (or strong willingness to develop expertise)
• Working knowledge of blockchain technology, tokenization mechanics, and digital asset markets (or strong willingness to develop expertise)
• Proven ability to operate across regulatory environments and navigate emerging frameworks

• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguity and appetite for building from zero
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
• Strong network across institutional capital and/or MENA financial markets
• Ability to attract, inspire, and retain top talent
