Overview OfThe Role
- The Transformation Manager will play a pivotal role in evolving the operating model within Al‑Futtaim Group's Financial Services division, bridging between commercial goals, credit risk, and technology.
- The role involves converting conceptual frameworks into specific use cases and mapping out workflows, contributing to a seamless and profitable lending journey.
- Success in this role is defined by achieving higher conversion rates, frictionless user experiences, faster origination cycles, and maintaining a profitable loan book.
- The role requires dealing with ambiguity, connecting commercial dots, and influencing stakeholders at various levels, from shop‑floor operations to the C‑suite.
- Lead the rollout of new lending products from zero to one.
- Lead the end‑to‑end setup of operations for new lending verticals, including underwriting workflows and loan booking processes.
- Translate abstract conceptual frameworks into specific use cases for immediate implementation.
- Guide the selection of the tech stack to make the customer experience instant and seamless.
- Lead the definition, planning, and structuring of complex cross‑functional initiatives.
- Actively steer program execution, identifying and resolving roadblocks.
- Support the development of robust business cases by analyzing and testing hypotheses.
- Run advanced Excel analysis to identify process waste and uncover revenue opportunities.
- Translate data into sharp charts and executive presentations for management decisions.
- Track metrics like conversion rates, CAC, and LTV.
- Influence and direct operational staff and senior executives to drive immediate change.
- Overcome organizational resistance and ensure smooth transition to Business As Usual (BAU).
- Manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Define, track, and achieve project milestones and target KPIs such as reduced loan approval time.
- Design benefits realization trackers, holding function owners accountable for embedding changes.
- Manage budgets for initiatives influencing P&L and operational performance.
- Partner with tech and digital teams to define business requirements for financial systems.
- Translate commercial requirements into technical specifications for platforms like LMS.
- Work with Risk and Compliance to ensure regulatory standards are met.
- Map complex financial workflows and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Drive improvements in Turnaround Time (TAT) and Straight‑Through Processing (STP) rates.
- Integrate third‑party service providers seamlessly into the business architecture.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis.
- Strong communication skills for executive presentations.
- Ability to lead and steer cross‑functional initiatives.
- Deep understanding of consumer finance and lending mechanics.
