Overview
We are looking for a Card Testing Analyst with strong expertise in Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card systems. The role involves validating end-to-end card transaction processing, testing Card Management Systems (CMS), and ensuring compliance with card scheme rules and security standards.
Responsibilities- Card Transaction Testing:
Test Debit, Credit, and Prepaid card transactions across multiple channels. - Validate transaction flows on: ATM Cash withdrawal, balance inquiry, mini statement. POS Purchase, refund, reversal, pre-authorization, completion. E-commerce Online payments with 3D Secure authentication. Card Lifecycle Testing.
- Validate and test complete card lifecycle processes, including:
Card issuance and card personalization. Card activation and PIN generation. PIN change and PIN reset. Card block, unblock, and hot listing. Card replacement and renewal. - Card Management System (CMS) Testing:
Perform testing on Card Management Systems (CMS). Validate card configurations, limits, and usage controls. Test integration between CMS, switch, and core banking systems. - Payment Network & Message Validation:
Analyze and validate ISO 8583 authorization messages. Verify transaction request/response message fields. Validate authorization, clearing, and settlement flows. - Testing
Activities:
Execute Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End transaction testing. - Compliance & Scheme Validation:
Ensure system compliance with Visa and Mastercard scheme rules, PCI-DSS security standards, EMV chip card specifications, and 3D Secure authentication standards. - Vendor & Integration Testing:
Coordinate with external vendors such as payment switches, ATM/POS vendors, card personalization vendors, payment gateways. Support integration testing with card networks and third-party systems. - Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. Log and track defects using tools such as JIRA / HP ALM / Quality Center. Perform defect analysis and regression testing after fixes.
- Production Support:
Support production issue investigation related to card transactions. Analyze failed transactions and provide root cause analysis. Validate production fixes and patches.
