Policy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Policy Specialist who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end review and update of approximately 14 policies. The consultant will drive policy modernization, ensuring alignment with current processes, controls, service catalogue, Delegation of Authority (DOA), taxonomy, and RACI frameworks.

• Define and agree Policy Table of Contents (ToC) structure and governance standards.
• Facilitate policy review workshops with key stakeholders across functions.
• Lead documentation and update of policy content including controls, standards, key mandates, and policy rules.
• Ensure alignment with current processes, control environment, service catalogue, DOA, taxonomy, and RACI matrices.
• Lead validation and review sessions with leadership.
• Coordinate and manage vertical validation sessions (‘policy handshakes’) to ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Provide structured reporting on progress, risks, and stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure documentation meets governance, compliance, and audit standards.

• Strong experience in policy design, governance frameworks, and enterprise controls.
• Experience conducting structured gap assessments and policy harmonization exercises.
• Strong facilitation skills for senior stakeholder workshops.
• Ability to translate operational processes into formal policy language.
• Understanding of risk, compliance, and internal control environments.
• Experience working within large corporate or multinational environments.
• Big 4 or equivalent consulting background preferred.
• Strong documentation and executive presentation skills.
