POSITION
PURPOSE:
Sephora Middle East is recruiting a Regional Care Trainer
, based in Sephora University (Dubai).
The main responsibility of this role is to lead Skincare & Haircare learning and development across our 5 Middle East countries, through the implementation of regional training initiatives, training delivery, in-store coaching and assessment (approx. 30% of time) and the development of the Skincare Expert Community. The role includes the management of the Regional Care Education Expert, for which it will require development, supervision, follow-up and feedback.
Other tasks will include strong collaboration and guidance of the KSA Care trainers for identical and seamless execution, support Skincare & Haircare brand training organization and take part in cross-selling training initiatives. The role requires strong collaboration with Retail & Store Managers to support the learning and development of the store team. The Regional Care Trainer may also support cross-functional events (with Marketing/PR and HR).
This is a regional role that will require monthly travel within the Middle East countries (Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain).
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Contribute to the formulation of the Skincare & Haircare yearly strategy and roadmap.
- Manage the OGCC Skincare and Haircare training plan, calendar and budget.
- Lead the creation/update of all Skincare & Haircare training modules, ensuring Middle East needs and relevance.
- Develop Skincare & Haircare expertise by implementing certification pathways and delivering Sephora University Skincare & Haircare training modules.
- Lead the implementation and execution of all Skincare & Haircare initiatives – including alignment with KSA, communication to stakeholders, follow up and gathering feedback.
- Lead the development of the Skincare Expert Community (including monthly engagement, organization of Experts’ events, feedback on performance, calibration, building Expert pathway, etc....)
- Ensure to fully equipped direct report and peers from SU to deliver any Skincare & Haircare training initiatives effectively (from TTT, delivery observations and feedback)
- Lead development of Skincare talents, following the internal process, in collaboration with Retail, including i dentification, coaching, tracking and communicating about progress and learning.
- Lead coaching in-store by providing guidelines, assessment, tools and proper post visit feedback, to direct report and KSA trainers – set example by conducting in-store coaching v isit on weekly basis.
- Develop Skincare & Haircare knowledge and skills of the store team through feedback and coaching on conversation, selling speech, Sephora Attitude and new product launches.
- Partner with Retail & Store Managers to share and align feedback, development plan and follow-up actions through meetings and reports.
- Work with the Beauty Education Manager and Offer Team to align brand training needs and brands to be featured at key training events.
- Drive execution of multi-brand education events, align on agenda, challenge and review all brand content, based on training objectives. Ensure to infuse Sephora DNA into any brand training events.
- Host, animate and drive engagement of Skincare & Haircare brand training – in-person and digital.
- Drive teach back post brand training, by equipping, inspiring, and following up with attendees.
Management
- Manage the Regional Care Education Expert.
- Support the growth and development of the Regional Care Education Expert through coaching, feedback, and follow-up.
- Support effective delivery of training and in-store coaching of the Regional Care Education Expert.
