The clinic, authorised by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) & CDA, is the leading counselling and psychological assessment centre in Dubai, offering evidence‑based methods and tailored treatment plans for top‑notch care. They aim to expand their team with professionals trained in either the UK, USA, Western Europe, Australia, or South Africa, holding DHA or licences as clinical psychologists.
Role DescriptionMed Pro Staffing is in search of a full‑time licensed Counselling Psychologist to conduct psychological assessments and therapy onsite in Dubai, UAE.
Qualifications- Experience in providing counselling or therapy services to couples
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and ability to create a safe and supportive environment
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
- License or certification as a Couples Therapist or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is a plus
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
At least 3 years of clinical experience, including experience in psychological assessment/testing and psychotherapy for couples.
Knowledge of and experience in treating a broad range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competence, with the ability to provide appropriate and sensitive interpretation of information for people from diverse backgrounds.
