We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to join our dynamic emergency medical services team. As an ACP, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced medical care to patients in pre-hospital and emergency settings. Your expertise and swift decision-making will contribute to saving lives and providing critical care. The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services/Paramedicine or an equivalent qualification with a minimum three (3) years course duration.
Additionally, possessing valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and a Trauma Certificate (PHTLS or ITLS) is mandatory. The candidate must also be licensed by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Medical Care:
Provide advanced assessment, treatment, and care to patients in emergency and pre-hospital environments, ensuring the highest standards of medical intervention and patient safety. - Rapid Response:
Respond promptly to emergency calls, demonstrating proficiency in critical decision-making and efficient execution of advanced medical procedures. - Trauma Management:
Apply specialized trauma care techniques based on Trauma Certificate (PHTLS or ITLS) training, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in trauma cases. - Cardiac Life Support:
Administer advanced cardiac life support interventions, including defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and medication administration as per ACLS guidelines. - Pediatric Care:
Deliver expert pediatric care according to PALS protocols, displaying empathy and competence in managing pediatric emergencies. - Medication Administration:
Safely administer advanced medications and treatments, adhering to prescribed protocols and guidelines. - Emergency Equipment:
Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, and other specialized devices. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner. - Interdisciplinary
Collaboration:
Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and fire department personnel to ensure effective emergency response and patient care. - Continued
Education:
Stay updated on the latest advancements in emergency medical care through continuous learning, training, and professional development. - Compliance and Regulation:
Adhere to all relevant medical standards, protocols, and regulations set forth by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and other governing bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services/Paramedicine or equivalent (minimum three (3) years course duration).
- Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and a Trauma Certificate (PHTLS or ITLS).
- Licensed by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).
- Proven experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic or equivalent role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures, trauma care, and cardiac life support protocols.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining emergency medical equipment.
