MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo process the bills/claims generated on credit base and cash bills per set targets and of the highest quality for submission to insurance companies and private payers
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASTo ensure that invoices are accurate
To ensure that bills are accurate and submitted to insurance companies or private companies within the stipulated time frame
To ensure that system is updated with payments and dispatched bills and outstanding balances are identified
To ensure that all bills are submitted for payment and final reconciliation statement ready within stipulated time frame
REQUIRED EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution will be an advantage
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE1 Year experience in accounts/RCM billing environment
1-2 Years’ experience in accounts/billing environment in a healthcare facility will be an advantage
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Demonstrate ability to work in a multi-cultural team
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of accounts/billing in healthcare facilities
- Medical terminology and coding
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
