Job Description
The Laboratory Technician will be a vital part of our research and development team, responsible for conducting, recording, and analyzing laboratory tests to establish product quality and performance. The candidate will work in a controlled laboratory environment while adhering to all safety standards and protocols. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of laboratory processes, and the ability to collaborate with other scientists and team members.

- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests according to standardized procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Document and analyze test results for research and quality assurance purposes.
- Prepare and maintain reagents, solutions, and chemical supplies for laboratory use.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the laboratory environment.
- Participate in the development and validation of new laboratory protocols and methods.
- Support senior researchers and scientists in complex experiments and data analysis.
- Manage laboratory inventory and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Conduct quality control tests to ensure laboratory standards are maintained.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior laboratory staff as required.
- Prepare reports and maintain detailed records of laboratory activities and findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures is essential.
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment, including spectrometers and microscopes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and presentations.
