Nurse, Health Educator

The School Nurse will play a vital role in promoting the health and well‑being of students, providing medical care, and supporting health education initiatives within the school community.

Conduct health assessments and screenings for students to identify any health concerns. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for each student.

Provide immediate first aid and medical care for students and staff in case of injuries or illnesses. Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.

Deliver health education programs to students, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care. Collaborate with teachers to integrate health education into the curriculum.

Administer prescribed medications to students according to established protocols. Educate and train school staff on medication administration procedures.

Implement health promotion activities and campaigns within the school community. Organize health‑related events and workshops for students, parents, and staff.

Communicate with parents regarding students' health concerns and coordinate follow‑up care when needed. Collaborate with parents to obtain necessary health information and consent.

Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, such as physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for students. Facilitate referrals to external healthcare providers as needed.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date health records for students, including immunization records and medical histories. Generate reports on health trends and concerns within the school population.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and valid nursing license
• Certification in School Nursing
• CPR and First Aid Certification

3-5 years of experience with at least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in an educational setting
