Job Description Summary

The role of a Clinical Education Specialist is primarily to deliver and co‑coordinate training on GE Healthcare’s products. This training is mainly delivered at a hospital site but also remotely using digital methods. The Clinical Education Specialist owns support within the Molecular Imaging installed base.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite clinical applications training to users of equipment in the given modality area.
  • Co‑coordinate installations and initial clinical applications alongside sales, service, and the Clinical Education Manager.
  • Conduct high‑quality application training at customer sites to ensure the customer’s safe and effective use of GE equipment, maximizing image quality and productivity.
  • Maintain satisfactory after‑sale relationships and develop long‑term customer relationships, while identifying and capitalizing on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.
  • Promote unique differentiators based on customer clinical needs, competition, values, and benefits sought.
  • Continuously develop and improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.
  • Support trade shows, workshops, show sites, and customer visits.
  • Support the deployment of digital tools and embrace the digital transformation of clinical education.
  • Document trainings, site visits, and customer interactions as per the local protocol.
  • Deliver customer presentations at classroom education days and user events.
Required Qualifications
  • Based on a radiographer or biomedical engineering degree and significant experience in Molecular Imaging (Nuclear Medicine/PET).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and communication.
  • Self‑motivated with a willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take action to improve.
  • Team‑oriented with a customer‑satisfaction mindset.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing work environments.
  • Open to travel and able to be at customer sites 70–80 % of the working time (annual average).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Desired Characteristics
  • Post‑graduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Experience working with GE products.
  • Experience conducting training in Molecular Imaging.
  • Experience working in other modalities such as CT or X‑ray is a bonus.
