Job DescriptionAs the Nursing Clinical Lead
, you will be responsible for the delivery of specialist clinical and/or nursing services required by Emirates Group Medical Services. The focus of this role may be leadership, clinical, administrative, or technical support. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be accountable for your role function and its delivery, and should demonstrate critical thinking and decision‑making skills relevant to your responsibilities.
- Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the telemedicine nursing services within Emirates Group Medical Services (EGMS).
- Lead the development and implementation of telemedicine protocols, guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory guidance and best practice for triaging patients.
- Triage patients efficiently following international best practice and refer for care as appropriate.
- Provide supervision and guidance to nurses delivering telemedicine services, ensuring standards of treatment and care are maintained.
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure telemedicine platforms are secure, user‑friendly, and meet clinical requirements.
- Advise on solutions and necessary actions required to ensure compliance with telemedicine guidelines, minimising risk for medical services in relation to remote consultations.
- Ensure adequate education and training programmes for nurses in telemedicine, including technology use, patient privacy, and virtual communication skills.
- Actively audit and report on agreed key performance indicators related to telemedicine service delivery.
- Promote evidence‑based practice and nursing compliance to medical services policies and guidelines in the telemedicine context.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in nursing within a clinical, medical, or safety‑related field.
- Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A willingness to learn and develop competencies in Primary Care Practice Nursing and Aviation Medicine.
- Paediatric nursing experience (desirable).
