Title Biomedical Technician

Mediclinic City Hospital | Dubai | United Arab Emirates Main Purpose

To provide comprehensive biomedical technical support to the business unit, including preventative maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.

• Perform scheduled maintenance and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions.
• Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including end user training.
• Repair and replace biomedical equipment and systems.
• Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and act as first level support for biomedical queries.

A relevant associate degree in biomedical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

At least 2 years' experience in the installation, repair, maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting.
