- Leading and presentation to clients, ascertaining their health service planning needs
- Actively pursue and build productive client relationships
- Research and analysis of available population, epidemiological, health status and health service utilization to develop reliable service planning studies
- Contribution to the service planning database and projection techniques with ongoing development of in-house planning software
- Development of high quality reports for a diverse range of client types to achieve a variety of business objectives
- Actively tailoring service planning solutions and strategies to suit individual client needs and requirements
- Coordination and management of a portfolio of service planning projects
- Composition of effective responses to requests for proposals or information from clients.
- Maintaining and promoting a strong commitment to the advancement of the service planning profession.
- Effective presentation skills, and superior oral and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills for a range of stakeholders
- Experience in health service delivery, health policy, service planning, health statistics analysis or health asset development
- An intimate understanding and familiarity with a country’s health system (any)
- Critical thinking, analytical and project management skills, including ability to produce complex reports, proposals, business documents and submissions in a timely manner
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- The ability to work in a dynamic work environment with strict timelines
- The ability to work in a range of international settingsandtravel to various destinations for client consultation and presentations
- A postgraduate qualification in public health, health planning or health service management will be highly regarded
- A clinical qualification with experience in health service delivery (desirable)
- Available for immediate start (desirable)
