Responsible for ensuring the health and safety policies are followed by employees, helping identify occupational hazards, and coordinating successful implementation of QHSE initiatives.
Responsibilities- Ensure that all documents (policy manual, procedures, work instructions, etc) and records needed for effective implementation of ISO standards are identified, documented, and periodically updated on review
- Will be accountable and responsible for duties as described in the QHSE roles and responsibilities document of IMS
- Assist in company policy and procedure reviews and support in maintaining the custodianship of company policies.
- Follow up on the QHSE training needs of the organization and maintain the HSE training status as per the requirement.
- Provide and support the QHSE team on the execution of campaigns and projects.
- Ensure that the different HSE initiatives, celebrations and campaigns are conducted successfully in the company with proper planning and implementation.
- Work with the Bidding Team on developing design briefs and presentations by gathering information and data through research and clarifying design issues for key pitch presentations
- Responsible for conducting risk assessments and environmental risk assessments of assigned areas.
- Responsible for periodic company-wide report compilation on various QHSE aspects
- Maintain the status of all QHSE non conformities and their escalations matrix
- Monitor the existing working conditions and ensure implementation of safe work practices, conduct site inspections and audits as per set objectives
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations and standards concerning health and safety including those relating to existing ISO specifications
- Use expertise to bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using the creative and designing skills
- Support the QHSE Manager + HOD in accident investigations, near misses and unsafe acts/conditons.
