Private Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments meticulously adhering to dosage and schedule ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding catering to dietary restrictions and preferences promoting optimal health and vitality.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene tasks including bathing dressing and grooming maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities such as conversations and games to combat loneliness and cognitive decline.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is a must, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required, showcasing formal training in caregiving.
• Prior experience in a private caregiving role is preferred, indicating familiarity with the demands and nuances of the job.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing care to elderly or individuals with disabilities, reflecting a proven track record of care.
