Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret a variety of imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, ensuring accurate diagnoses that guide treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and provide expert recommendations, facilitating interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of imaging procedures by adhering to established protocols and best practices, minimizing risks and enhancing patient comfort during examinations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions, contributing insights and recommendations that foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and radiologic technologists, providing guidance on complex cases and promoting professional development within the team.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in radiology technology and techniques, integrating new knowledge into practice to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
  • Engage in research and clinical trials, contributing to the advancement of radiology practices and enhancing the hospital’s reputation as a leader in medical innovation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all imaging studies and interpretations in the hospital's electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of imaging services, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
  • Skills
