Care Companion (Attendant)
Dubai, UAE
We are currently hiring for a Care Companion (Attendant) for our client, a purpose-driven and fast-growing organization building a specialized, dignity-first mobility platform across healthcare, accessibility, education, tourism, institutional partnerships, and community mobility sectors within the UAE.
This is a frontline safety and support role responsible for supervising passengers during transit, assisting individuals with special needs, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and structured environment throughout the journey.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, responsible, alert, and able to manage safety-sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise passengers and ensure their safety at all times during transport
- Assist individuals while boarding and exiting vehicles, including children, seniors, and passengers with special needs
- Provide support with seatbelts, booster seats, mobility aids, and safe street crossing where required
- Maintain order and enforce safety rules throughout the journey
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide basic first aid when needed
- Conduct basic safety checks and support vehicle/equipment readiness
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, parents, and stakeholders regarding passenger behaviour or safety concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the vehicle or assigned area
- Complete basic reporting, documentation, and incident logs accurately
- Participate in mandatory training programs including safety, first aid, and compliance updates
- Support additional operational duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, patient, and able to handle sensitive or emergency situations
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently
- Comfortable working in a physically active, on-the-move environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings or split shifts
- Training in child safety, first aid, and conflict resolution (preferred or provided)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Basic use of mobile devices and communication tools for reporting
