Duty Manager

We are on the look for a proactive and guest-focused Duty Manager to oversee hotel operations during assigned shifts and ensure an exceptional guest experience in line with five-star service standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support smooth daily operations across all departments.

• Act as the Manager on Duty, overseeing hotel operations and representing management in the absence of senior leaders.
• Ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure, handling VIPs, special requests, and complaints with discretion.
• Coordinate with all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, Engineering) to guarantee service excellence.
• Monitor lobby and public areas, ensuring cleanliness, guest safety, and brand presentation at all times.
• Manage and resolve guest issues promptly, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
• Conduct daily operational inspections and follow up on service standards (Forbes/LQA).
• Support Front Office operations, staff supervision, and team motivation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.
• Prepare daily reports for senior management on operations, incidents, and guest feedback.

• 2–3 years’ experience in Front Office/Rooms Division within a five-star luxury hotel, with prior supervisory or duty manager experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
• Proficiency in Opera PMS and MS Office; multilingual skills are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken - additional languages are a plus.
