We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe Cybersecurity Expert will ensure that all systems and data within the Smart Metering Programme meet the highest standards of information security and regulatory compliance. The role involves defining cybersecurity requirements, assessing risks, and overseeing secure system integration across Meters, communications services, HES, MDMS, IT, and field components. It requires expertise in critical infrastructure protection, vulnerability management, and incident response within complex, multi-vendor environments.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain the cybersecurity framework for the programme.
- Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Oversee implementation of security controls across all system components.
- Coordinate penetration testing, incident response, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international cybersecurity standards.
- Work closely with IT, Integration, and Testing teams to embed secure‑by‑design principles.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally within utilities, energy, or critical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of AMI security, encryption, and network protection.
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, and UAE cybersecurity frameworks.
- Certified in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and risk management skills in complex delivery environments.
