Job Description
** On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Machine Learning & AI Engineer – Dubai, UAE (Full-Time Permanent Role).
** Our client is looking for a hands-on ML/AI Engineer to develop and deploy advanced machine vision and deep learning solutions. You will work on-site in Dubai, leading end-to-end AI initiatives—from data preparation to production deployment—and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

** Key Responsibilities
** Design and implement machine vision and AI algorithms using Python and libraries such as OpenCV, Num Py, Sci Py, and Pandas.  Build, train, and evaluate ML and deep learning models (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras) for image classification, object detection, and segmentation.  Develop preprocessing, augmentation, and data quality pipelines for image datasets.  Define metrics, create test sets, and conduct rigorous validation of models.  

Deploy models into production environments using AWS (Sagemaker, EC2), edge devices, and internal APIs.  Monitor, optimise, and improve performance and scalability of deployed AI systems.  Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.  Maintain clear documentation and follow best practices in version control and CI/CD.  Stay updated on emerging AI/ML techniques and evaluate their applicability.

** Required Experience and Skills
** Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.  3–5 years of experience in machine vision and AI engineering.  Strong hands-on experience with CNNs, object detection (R-CNN, YOLO), and segmentation methods.  Familiarity with modern approaches such as vision transformers and foundation models.  Proficiency in Python and tools like VS Code, Jupyter, or Anaconda.  

Experience with visualisation libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).  Knowledge of SQL/No

SQL databases and data manipulation techniques.  

Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools.  Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for ML/AI workloads.  Strong communication skills and ability to manage full project life cycles.  Language:

** Experience with C++, C#, or Java.  Background in manufacturing or service environments.  Certifications in ML/AI or machine vision.  Experience using AWS for production AI systems.  Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
