Position: IT Support Engineer (Full Time)

Job Summary:

We are urgently seeking a technically skilled IT Support Engineer to support and maintain our school’s IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling day-to-day IT operations in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, computer peripherals, IT hardware, and software applications.
  • Provide daily IT support, troubleshooting hardware (e.g., projectors, printers), software, and network issues reported via Service Desk.
  • Administer Office 365 tools including Exchange Online, SharePoint, One Drive, One Note, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Manage Active Directory (users, groups, computers), GPOs, and maintain Windows Server environments.
  • Monitor system performance, apply patches, install antivirus, and ensure IT infrastructure security.
  • Maintain and support network devices: routers, Uni Fi access points, switches, LAN/WAN connectivity.
  • Configure Forti Gate firewall: policies, content filtering, VPN (IPSec/SSL), internet usage monitoring.
  • Maintain technical documentation and internal knowledgebase as per IT policies.
  • Support and train staff on educational technology platforms, software usage, and peripherals.
  • Manage school website (Word Press), update content, and ensure usability and performance.
  • Conduct system training, user onboarding, and documentation briefings.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in an IT Executive/Assistant role.
  • Hands‑on experience with Office 365 administration and Windows Server environments.
  • Familiarity with help desk systems and user support.
  • Working knowledge of security systems:
    CCTV
    , Access Control
    .
  • Certifications:

    CCNA
    , MCSA
    , MCITP
    , or equivalent (required).
  • Experience with Forti Gate firewall and network configurations.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL framework (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in school IT support is highly desirable.
