While managing the day-to-day operational activities is not expected here, this role will be accountable for the overall delivery activities such as Design, Development, Implementation, Standardization, Automation and Capacity Planning. The role is expected to find optimal solutions to problems and implement them based on the infrastructure and project requirements.

• Design solutions that cater for enhancing the operational stability.
• Address Problem tickets, Risk and Audit items in the products backlog.
• Strong understanding of Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
• Strong understanding of Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift).
• Knowledge in Linux internals (Preferably RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Comprehensive understanding of Dev Ops / SRE, IaC and 12 Factor Principles.
• Excellent hands on experience in configuration management, orchestration and IaC tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark).
• Agile methodologies and its ceremonies.
• Own multiple services and have the autonomy to do what suits the business and our customers in IT.
• Solve occurring problems and create solutions and automation to prevent them again.
• Support on call if needed.

• Knowledge about API communications (Rest/Soap), developing a new consumer/publisher for any API.
• Excellent scripting in Groovy (writing Jenkins Files) / Bash / Power Shell / Python / Gradle.
• GITOPS driven configuration management and deployment, Git Hub Actions and Webhooks.
• Familiar and open minded to Open-source technologies.
• Team player / quick adaptation to context change.
• Security Awareness, encryption, in-depth understanding of OS and networking.
• Strong understanding of troubleshooting. Deep dive to an issue, read logs, track clues and identify problems.
• Strategic Thinking with Research and Development mindset.
• Adequate understanding of project management methodologies.
• Mobile code building experience for iOS and Android (Gradle & Cocoapods).
• CD Integration with Apple, Google & App Center.

• Banking background.
• Red Hat Certified Architect or Equivalent.
• Knowledge in Windows internals.
• Strong understanding of Virtualization Technologies (KVM / Libvirt / oVirt / Kube Virt / OVM / Openstack).
• Strong understanding of Software Defined Storage Technologies (CEPH, Gluster
  
  FS).
• Plan for reliability for systems to work across multi datacenter/environment and handle outages.

• At least 10 years experience in a relevant technical position with hands on automation knowledge.
