Our client is a consumer-facing organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation, with e-commerce positioned as a core growth pillar. The business operates across physical and digital channels and is investing in technology, data, and customer experience.
The RoleThe Head of Digital Commerce will be responsible for building and scaling the organisations e-commerce and digital sales ecosystem. This includes ownership of online revenue, platform performance, customer acquisition, and conversion optimisation. The role will lead cross‑functional teams spanning marketing, technology, product, and fulfilment to deliver seamless customer journeys. A key focus will be driving profitability, data‑driven decision‑making, and platform scalability.
The role will also shape partnerships with marketplaces, payment providers, and technology vendors.
The ideal candidate will bring senior‑level experience in e-commerce, digital platforms, or online marketplaces. A strong understanding of customer funnels, digital marketing, UX, and performance analytics is required. Experience scaling digital businesses in the UAE or GCC markets is highly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate commercial ownership, leadership capability, and the ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams. Retail or consumer sector exposure is a strong advantage.
