As a Data Scientist
, you will play a critical role in extracting value from data to drive strategic and operational decision-making. Working closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and analytics teams, you will design, build, and deploy advanced models that turn complex datasets into actionable insights. This is a hands‑on role where you will combine strong statistical, analytical, and programming skills with real‑world business understanding to influence outcomes across the organization.

Design, develop, and deploy data science models to solve complex business problems.

Analyse large, structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

Build predictive, classification, and forecasting models to support business decision‑making.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data‑driven solutions.

Evaluate model performance, validate results, and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.

Develop data pipelines and feature engineering processes in collaboration with data engineers.

Communicate findings clearly through visualisations, reports, and presentations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Support experimentation, A/B testing, and hypothesis‑driven analysis.

Stay up to date with emerging data science techniques, tools, and best practices.

Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the team.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Masters preferred).

4+ years of hands‑on experience in a Data Scientist or similar analytical role.

Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, Num Py, Scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow/PyTorch).

Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning techniques.

Experience working with large datasets, data wrangling, and feature engineering.

Familiarity with SQL and relational databases; experience with big data tools is a plus.

Experience deploying models into production environments is highly desirable.

Previous experience in the online trading or financial services industry is a strong advantage.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, business‑focused way.

Highly analytical with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
