System & Application Administrator; Emirati

We are looking for a System & Application Administrator to manage, support, and optimize enterprise applications and platforms. The role involves system configuration, application support, security compliance, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and continuous improvement across on-prem and cloud environments.

• Installs, configures and maintains application platforms and systems.
• Establishes and reviews system, application and user security controls while enforcing regulatory compliance standards.
• Provide technical support assistance to diagnose and resolve application issues.
• Open, manage and resolve application issues with external application vendors.
• Find and execute on process improvement opportunities.
• Be an active member of cross-functional project teams to plan and deliver solutions that meet our business needs.
• Maintain the health of systems including trend analysis for capacity planning, proactive health assessments for performance tuning and recommendations and implementation of best practices.
• Understanding of network devices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for environments, including network diagrams, installation and configuration procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Optimize existing workflows and helps develop and implement new workflows.
• Work with developers, analysts, and customers to update, maintain, and improve applications.
• Analyze and resolve problems according to shifting priorities, time frames and resources, and documents resolutions.
• Develop mechanisms and automation for deploying projects and configuration changes across the various environments.
• Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
• Provide oral and written status reports to the project manager and/or more senior IT staff.
• Investigate and propose ways to maximize benefits from applications and platforms. works with stakeholders to receive approval and implement changes.

• Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable with Enterprise Resource Planning programs and tools.
• Fluent in a variety of programming languages, software, and systems.
• Able to work in an environment using cloud systems.
• Experience working with Linux, Redhat, Windows and other operating systems.
• Experience working with SQL, Oracle and big data solutions.
• Senior technical application support experience with strong troubleshooting skills and should be able to analyze servers, system dumps, heaps dumps and all logs to determine root cause of issues.
• Leading application upgrades and other technical projects.
• Maintain environments by applying necessary fix & feature packs.
• Stays abreast of emerging software enhancements and bug fixes.
• Understanding on network technologies.
• Good working knowledge of applications third-party components like Apache, Tomcat, MySql, DB2, IIS, etc.
• Solid computing and scripting skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of Open Shift technology is a plus.
