Legal Intern

Responsibilities- Draft and review non-disclosure agreements and similar legal documents
- Initial vetting of basic contracts and preparation of first draft of template-based contracts
- Support corporate matters and governance processes and procedures, including trade license renewals/amendments, annual GA meetings, board resolutions and the like
- Maintaining and preparing Powers of Attorney
- Support routine disputes/litigation with external counsel in coordination with in-house legal team
- Researching local laws
- Preparing legal reports and updates on legal matters and cases
- Highly effective and fluent communication in English; fluency in Arabic is preferred
- Ability to translate legal issues into readily understandable and concise assessments
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, adapt to changing conditions, set appropriate priorities and deliver results efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate within a local and global team environment
- Problem solving mindset that requires careful analysis and good judgement
- A passion for continuously identifying improvement areas and driving change
- Attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work product
- Excellent interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, and the ability to work effectively with multiple, diverse, cross-functional stakeholders
