On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, We are seeking a Senior / Principal Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Digital Payments, Mobile Money, Wallet Platforms, and Enterprise Integrations to lead the architecture, delivery, and scaling of large-scale financial platforms across MEA and emerging markets.
This role requires hands-on architecture leadership
, end-to-end ownership, and strong stakeholder engagement across product, engineering, compliance, and operations
.
- 7+ years experience in Fin Tech / Telecom / Digital Payments
- Hands-on experience with Mobile Money / Wallet Platforms
- End-to-end delivery ownership (not advisory-only roles)
- Strong API & Integration background (REST, gateways, third parties)
- Database expertise (Oracle / Gauss
DB / SQL / performance tuning) - Linux-based production environments
- Experience working with Huawei ecosystem (strong advantage)
- Card issuing & payment networks (Visa, Jaywan, tokenization)
- AWS / Huawei Cloud certifications
- Experience across MEA, Africa, LATAM
- Large scale user base systems (millions of users)
- Telecom-grade platforms & SLAs
- Architect and deliver end-to-end wallet ecosystems including:
- Core wallet platforms (Huawei / Amdocs / equivalent)
- Mobile applications
- Card issuance (Visa / Jaywan / tokenization)
- Payment gateways & IMT integrations
- KYC / AML / Compliance frameworks
- Design API-first, microservices-based architectures for high-scale environments (1M+ users).
- Lead multi-country launches and migrations with zero or minimal downtime.
- Define routing logic, charging, commissions, and partner integrations
. - Ensure high availability, DR, monitoring, and performance optimization (>99.5% uptime).
- Design and deploy solutions on AWS and/or Huawei Cloud
. - Implement monitoring, NOC, logging, and alerting frameworks.
- Optimize infrastructure cost and deployment patterns.
- Act as technical bridge between business, product, vendors, and engineering.
- Lead cross-functional teams (architecture, ops, dev, QA).
- Support audits and compliance (PCI-DSS, regulator requirements, internal governance).
- Mentor teams and standardize enterprise architecture patterns.
