RHEL Specialist – Technical Skills & Qualifications Requirements
- System Management:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) - Storage Management:
Configure LVM, NFS, SAN multipathing, and file systems (ext4, XFS, JFS2) - Operating Systems:
Expert-level knowledge of RHEL 7/8/9 - Automation:
Proficiency with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Open Shift)
- Virtualization:
Manage VMware or KVM environments for Linux - RHEL certified
- Web Sphere Application Server (WAS):
Install, configure, and support IBM WAS (Network Deployment and Liberty profiles). Perform JVM tuning, heap dump analysis, and troubleshooting. - IBM MQ:
Administer IBM MQ (Message Queue) managers, queues, channels, and listeners. Ensure reliable message delivery and setup high-availability configurations.
