We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to support the Front Office UI for Call Center initiative for our airline client based in Dubai. The role requires a candidate with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, particularly in the airline domain. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast‑paced team within a leading airline group, contributing to cutting‑edge solutions in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities- Execute manual and automation tests for airline systems, focusing on inventory, pricing, booking, and payment functionality.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks for automation using tools such as Selenium and Robot Framework.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct database testing, specifically for Mongo
DB and Oracle, to validate data consistency and system performance. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, document, and maintain test cases based on system requirements and business logic.
- Report and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure resolution.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve testing practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years working within the airline industry.
- Strong hands‑on experience in manual and automation testing.
- Expertise in API testing using Postman.
- Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium or Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in database testing, particularly with Mongo
DB and Oracle. - Solid knowledge of airline domain concepts, including inventory, pricing, booking, and payment systems.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
