Urgent requirement for Senior Network & Security SME – Firewalls, Linux & VOIP is required for our client in Dubai, UAE.

Strong experience in at least two enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, etc.) is Must.

Strong experience on administration of Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) is Must.

Strong experience on CLI proficiency (systemd, networking, storage, logs) is Must.

Strong experience on Routing (BGP & OSPF) Real-world configuration and outage troubleshooting is Must.

Strong experience on VOIP / IP Telephony:
Enterprise VOIP, SIP/RTP, QoS, call quality issues is Must.

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands‑on Senior Network & Security Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for our Dubai operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives on ownership, autonomy, and complex technical environments.

Reporting directly to the Department Manager/Architect, you will act as the primary on‑site technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for the day‑to‑day technical integrity, stability, and security of the local infrastructure while adhering to established architectural designs and policies.

• Implement, manage, and maintain multi‑vendor networking, security, and IP telephony environments.
• Own the physical and logical health of the Dubai data center footprint.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, racking, structured cabling, and professional data center standards.
• Support the evolution of security monitoring from basic alerting to a structured SOC capability.
• Improve alert accuracy and optimize security tooling during business hours.
• Strengthen the overall security posture of local infrastructure.
• Act as the lead engineer for new service deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure all implementations comply with company policies and architectural standards.
• Serve as the L2/L3 escalation point for complex network and security incidents.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support and guidance to on‑call teams when required.
• Act as a technical point of contact for UAE‑based customers.
• Lead technical discussions, troubleshooting sessions, and client‑facing meetings.
• Deliver detailed technical reports to customers and internal management.

• Experience:
  
  10+ years in senior network and security engineering roles, preferably in MSP or enterprise environments.
• Technical Expertise:
• Enterprise‑grade firewalls
• L2/L3 routing and switching
• IP Telephony solutions
• Red Team / Blue Team concepts
• Linux system administration
• Security Frameworks:
  Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar governance and security frameworks.
• Data Center Operations:
  Proven experience managing physical data centre environments, including installations and rack management.
