Senior BI Developer

We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence products and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making for a leading semi-government organization based in Dubai

This is a 12-month contract
, renewable based on performance and business requirements.

We are looking for a highly capable BI professional with extensive hands-on experience in Tableau, Snowflake, and data wrangling using Alteryx
, who is equally comfortable engaging with senior business stakeholders. Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills are critical, as this role focuses on building intuitive BI products that drive adoption, insight, and business impact.

• Translate complex business problems and requirements into scalable BI and analytics solutions
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain BI dashboards, applications, and analytics products, primarily using Tableau
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives, KPIs, and performance requirements
• Act as the business-facing BI expert, working alongside technical and data engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions
• Create compelling, intuitive data visualizations that support executive-level decision-making and storytelling
• Establish and maintain enterprise-wide data visualization standards and frameworks
• Review, enhance, and rationalize existing BI products to improve usability, performance, and user adoption
• Consolidate duplicate dashboards and reports to drive standardization and efficiency
• Automate manual and repetitive reporting processes using advanced BI and analytics capabilities
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance reporting aligned with strategic objectives
• Provide insights into organizational and corporate performance through well-structured analytics products
• Stay current with emerging trends in data visualization, analytics tools, and BI product design
• Act as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on BI, analytics, and visualization best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Business, Finance, or Design / User Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI and analytics roles within mid-to-large organizations
• Extensive hands-on experience with Tableau (dashboards, applications, visualization frameworks, and self-service BI)
• Strong experience working with Snowflake as a data warehouse
• Proven expertise in data wrangling and preparation using Alteryx
• Strong SQL skills, with experience writing complex queries and supporting data transformations
• Solid understanding of database management systems, data architecture, and analytics workflows
• Experience working with KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and executive dashboards
• Strong understanding of information management, data governance, testing, and validation
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in a consultative, business-facing role within a complex, multifunctional environment
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills
• Tableau and/or Power BI certification is preferred

• Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within 30 days
