Job Description
The Senior IT and Systems Administrator will play a critical role in overseeing the IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems and networks run efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex IT environments and possess strong problem-solving skills. This role involves maintaining a secure and optimal IT infrastructure to support the business operations of the organization.

You will be responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, alongside the management of network systems. Moreover, you will work closely with other departments to ensure IT aligns with corporate goals, providing strategic input to improve IT systems and networks. A strong understanding of both on-premises and cloud solutions is essential, alongside the ability to supervise a team of IT professionals and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Plan, install, and configure new hardware and software in company systems.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the company's IT infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and integrity of network systems against potential threats.
• Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and other departments.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and strategies that align with company objectives.
• Conduct regular system audits and generate performance reports for management.
• Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion on schedule.
• Analyze system requirements and develop design solutions in collaboration with the team.
• Manage backup, recovery, and emergency procedures to ensure data protection.
• Integrate new systems into existing networks while ensuring compatibility.
• Conduct training sessions to improve IT and system-related knowledge company-wide.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration and server management protocols.
• Proficiency in managing both on-premises and cloud-based IT environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing an IT team.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
