Information Technology Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will support and manage multiple IT projects within the logistics domain, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business requirements. The role requires strong coordination skills, stakeholder management, and hands‑on tracking of project activities across applications, infrastructure, and integrations. The role includes strong ownership of project cost tracking, vendor invoices, and financial governance.

Duration: 6 months and extendable if the work is satisfactory

• Coordinate multiple IT projects simultaneously across logistics operations (WMS, Transport Management System, Yard Management System, integrations, infrastructure, automation).
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution in alignment with agreed timelines and priorities.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; ensure timely escalation where required.
• Maintain detailed project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and weekly status reports.
• Track project budgets, actual spend, and forecasts across all assigned projects. Maintain cost trackers for Cap Ex and OpEx items, including software, hardware, licenses, and services.
• Monitor budget consumption and flag potential overruns or deviations proactively.
• Ensure alignment between approved scope, PR/PO values, and vendor deliverables

• Act as a single point of coordination between IT, business users, vendors, and external partners.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering discussions.
• Ensure clear communication of requirements, progress updates, and decisions to all stakeholders.
• Follow up on action items and ensure closure within agreed timelines.

• Support preparation and maintenance of key project documents:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
• Functional / Technical Design Documents
• Project plans and timelines
• Change requests and approvals
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, SDLC, and internal project management standards.

• Coordinate with vendors and system integrators for delivery, testing, and deployment activities.
• Track vendor deliverables, dependencies, and SLA commitments.
• Support procurement, PR/PO follow‑ups, and invoice validation related to project activities.

• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and Go‑Live activities in collaboration with business and IT teams.
• Ensure test scenarios, sign‑offs, and deployment checklists are completed.
• Support transition to operations, including handover documentation and support readiness.

• Strong understanding of IT Project Management lifecycle (SDLC) – initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and closure.
• Experience managing multiple parallel IT projects with competing priorities.
• Hands‑on experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in project tracking tools (MS Project, Excel, Jira, Planner, Teams).

Desirable

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Work Experience: Proven experience (4+Yeras) as a Data Analyst/BI Developer, or similar role, preferably in a large‑scale organization or within the logistics industry.

Technical skills required to perform the role:

• 4-7 years of experience in data visualization using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Familiarity with data modeling and visualization best practices.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience to design Dashboard to be compatible with Mobile Devices
• Expertise in extracting the data from REST APIs to Power BI Visualization Tool
• Strong knowledge in understanding of Database Concepts and Ability to write SQL Queries
• Able to Develop Data Models to identify potential opportunities and risks using the data sets
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing trends or patterns and reports.
• Experience in Python is an added advantage
