The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, securing, and optimizing enterprise‑grade datacenter networks using Cisco Catalyst and Forti Gate technologies. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, resilient architectures, and secure operational environments for business‑critical infrastructure.

As a Network Engineer, you will work on building and maintaining high‑performance datacenter networks with a focus on Cisco Catalyst switching, Layer 2/3 design, and Fortinet firewall security. You will design and implement resilient architectures with redundancy, clustering, and optimized routing paths. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills to support production environments, ensuring uptime, network stability, and rapid issue resolution. You will collaborate with security, systems, and infrastructure teams to maintain a security‑first operational posture and contribute to architectural improvements across the network landscape.

• Design, configure, and support Cisco Catalyst 9200/9300 environments (Stack Wise, L2/L3, VLANs, routing, Ether Channel)
• Implement enterprise network architectures with redundancy and high availability
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Forti Gate firewalls including HA clusters, VPNs, NAT, IPS, and policy configurations
• Perform advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting in datacenter production environments
• Optimize network performance, routing efficiency, and security posture
• Collaborate with cross‑functional infrastructure and security teams
• Maintain documentation of network topology, configurations, and change logs

• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9200/9300 switches
• Demonstrated expertise in L2/L3 networking, routing protocols, VLANs, and Ether Channel
• Practical experience with Forti Gate firewalls in enterprise environments
• Experience with HA, redundancy, and datacenter architectures
• Advanced troubleshooting and packet‑level debugging capabilities
• Strong understanding of secure, resilient network design principles

• CCNP, NSE, or relevant network/security certifications
• Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible)
• Familiarity with SD‑WAN or software‑defined networking concepts
• Knowledge of datacenter standards and best practices
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Solar Winds, Forti Analyzer, Cisco DNA Center)
