A leading organization is seeking a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Finance and Operations.
This role will focus on stabilizing existing systems, improving data integrity, enhancing business processes, and supporting future ERP transformation initiatives
.
The position requires a hands-on functional expert who can collaborate closely with business stakeholders and drive system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Oracle EBS Functional Support- Lead and support key Oracle EBS modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Order Management (OM)
- Procurement
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for finance and operational processes
- Manage system configurations, setups, and enhancements
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to:
- Optimize business workflows
- Strengthen financial and inventory controls
- Reduce reliance on manual processes and spreadsheets
- Drive systemization of manual activities (e.g., reconciliations, adjustments)
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance
- Lead initiatives to improve:
- Customer, Supplier, and Item master data
- Chart of Accounts structure
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and duplication
- Support data governance frameworks and ownership models
- Fit-gap analysis
- Data cleansing and mapping
- Act as a functional liaison between business and technology teams
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Support testing (UAT), user training, and change management initiatives
- 10+ years of Oracle EBS functional experience
- Strong expertise in Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- Good understanding of Inventory, Order Management, and Procurement
- Experience working closely with Finance leadership
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and audit processes
- Excellent documentation and functional design capabilities
- Experience in ERP transformation or migration projects
- Exposure to data migration, cleansing, and governance
- Experience in multi-entity or complex business environments
- Background in retail, distribution, or similar industries
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Business-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
