Job DescriptionRole Overview
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Project Manager to lead the execution of a large, Tier-1 banking implementation (Cheque Clearing) for a UAE bank. The role requires strong client-facing leadership, delivery governance, andscope control in regulated banking environments. This is a critical delivery role on a high-visibility program.
Key Responsibilities Delivery & Client Management- Ownend-to-end delivery of the ICCS 3.0 implementation
- Leadand manage large, multi-disciplinary internal and external teams, ensuring clear ownership, coordination, and accountability across all deliverystream
- Actas the primary client-facing delivery lead
- Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Chairdelivery governance and steering meetings
- Ensurestrict adherence to the agreed scope and change control process
- Preventscope creep and manage change requests with commercial awareness
- Work closely with internal product and engineering teams to align delivery commitments
- Ownthe detailed project plan and execution roadmap
- Manageprogress, RAID items, and delivery KPIs
- Ensureissues are escalated early with clear mitigation plans
- Coordinateacross product, engineering, QA, and operations teams
- Workwith senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliveryalignment
- Maintain clear, structured communication with the client at all times
- 8–12+ years of experience delivering core banking, payments, and cheque clearingplatforms
- Experience working with Central Bank–regulated implementations
- Experience working with Tier-1 banks in the UAE or GCC
- Proven ability to manage large, complex, regulated programs
- Strong client-facing presence and communication skills
- Experience managing scope, change control, and delivery governance
