Position: Information Technology Officer (UAE National)

We are seeking a high-energy Junior IT Officer to join our technical team. This role is designed for a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career in IT infrastructure and support. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to maintain our systems, troubleshoot user issues, and help implement new technology solutions. If you are a natural problem-solver with a passion for tech, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • First-Line Support: Act as the first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance via our ticketing system or in person.
  • Hardware Setup: Unbox, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and printers for new hires.
  • Software Installation: Install and update corporate software, ensuring all systems are running the latest patches and versions.
  • Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring network connectivity (Wi‑Fi/LAN) and reporting any outages to the senior team.
  • User Access: Help manage user accounts in Active Directory or Google Workspace (resetting passwords, granting folder permissions).
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized record of all IT assets (serials, warranties, and assignments).
  • Documentation: Create simple "How‑To" guides for employees to help them solve common tech issues independently.
Requirements (Fresh Graduate Profile)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
    , Computer Science
    , or a related technical field.
  • Technical

    Skills:

  • Solid understanding of PC hardware components.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addresses, DHCP, DNS).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong "customer‑first" mentality.
  • Ability to explain technical fixes in simple terms.
  • A proactive attitude—identifying a problem before someone complains about it.
Nice-to-Haves (The Extras)
  • Any internship experience in a corporate IT environment.
  • Entry‑level certifications (e.g.,
    CompTIA A+,
    Google IT Support Professional
    , or CCNA
    ).
  • Familiarity with basic Cybersecurity hygiene.
