Technical Records Coordinator
Skyways Technics is seeking a detail-oriented, well organized and commercially aware Technical Records Coordinator to oversee the technical and large asset documentation lifecycle of Engines and Landing Gears within Skyways Technics Group.
Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for ensuring that all owned and prospective assets are supported by complete, accurate, and well-structured documentation to maximize asset value, facilitate transactions, and ensure efficient customer due diligence. The position plays a critical role in supporting asset acquisitions, sales, and part-out activities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, manage, and maintain up-to-date documentation for all existing engines and landing gears portfolios.
- Ensure completeness, traceability, and proper organization of technical and commercial records.
- Identify documentation gaps and proactively coordinate recovery or clarification.
- Review and assess documentation packages of potential assets under consideration for purchase.
- Highlight technical, regulatory, or commercial documentation risks in a standardized and readable way.
- Support the Asset Acquisition team by providing documentation gap analysis and due diligence feedback.
- Prepare structured, shareable data rooms or folders for prospective buyers.
- Ensure documentation is clear, complete, and easily accessible to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Respond to documentation-related queries from customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain a standardized checklist and digital file structure per asset type.
- Define best practices for document naming, storage, version control, and accessibility.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes across the asset lifecycle.
- Experience in aviation aftermarket, asset management, MRO, leasing, or technical records management.
- Strong understanding of aircraft technical documentation (e.g., logbooks, LLP records, maintenance status reports, back-to-birth traceability).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with digital documentation systems and shared data platforms.
- Ability to interact confidently with sellers, buyers, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and documentation control skills
- Commercial awareness within aircraft trading/part-out environment
- Clear communication and stakeholder management
- Process-driven with continuous improvement focus
- English fluent
