Technical Lead - Tokenization​/RWA Platform

We are hiring a Technical Lead – Tokenization / Real-World Assets (RWA) to lead the design and delivery of a regulated tokenization platform backed by a well-capitalised UAE-based group with a diversified portfolio across real assets and financial services.

This is a foundational role responsible for smart contract architecture, compliance-first token design, and regulator-facing technical documentation, contributing directly to the VARA ARVA license application.

• Own the smart contracts architecture for compliant RWA tokens
• Design and oversee the reserve assets management system
• Architect and implement the redemption engine (on-chain ↔ off-chain flows)
• Build monthly disclosure and reporting automation aligned with regulatory requirements
• Author and review technical sections of the VARA ARVA License application
• Design and implement Proof of Reserve mechanisms
• Review smart contracts from a security, compliance, and audit perspective
• Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Product, Custody, and Operations teams

• 4+ years hands-on experience in smart contract development (Solidity, ERC standards)
• Formal verification
• Secure upgrade patterns
• Experience with ERC-3643 or similar compliance-focused token standards
• Backend engineering experience supporting DeFi or tokenization platforms
• Solid understanding of securities law, tokenization frameworks, and regulated digital assets
• Ability to produce clear technical and regulator-ready documentation

• Built or scaled an STO / RWA platform previously
• Direct experience with VARA ARVA licensing or similar regimes
• Integration experience with custodians or asset managers (e.g. vaults, property managers)
• Oracle integrations such as Chainlink, API3, or equivalent
