Project Manager - Digital Transformation & AI

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join the IT Innovation and Partnership team. This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of high-impact technology solutions, with a specific focus on maintaining a consistent pipeline of Proof of Concept (POC) launches throughout the year. The successful candidate will oversee the lifecycle of emerging technology initiatives, ensuring that creative ideas are successfully transitioned into functional prototypes and pilot programs.

• Manage cross-functional stakeholders and coordinate with external technology partners, ensuring alignment with agile governance.
• Oversee the lifecycle of emerging technology initiatives from concept to pilot programs, including POC delivery.
• Maintain project governance within an agile framework and support the growth of the innovation hub.
• Manage dedicated sandbox environments for testing and facilitate large-scale technology events and hackathons.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of hackathons and other events to drive internal engagement and external partnerships.

• Project Governance:
  Experience managing the full project lifecycle, specifically for Digital Transformation and AI-driven initiatives.
• Agile Methodology:
  Proficiency in Scrum or Kanban to manage fast-paced Proof of Concept (POC) deliveries.
• Vendor & Partner Management:
  Ability to coordinate with external technology partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, or specialized AI startups) for technical implementations.
• Technical Literacy:
  Familiarity with Generative AI, Cloud Sandbox environments, and API integrations.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Strong capability to translate complex technical requirements into clear updates for leadership and cross-functional departments.

Aviation/Travel Background:
Prior experience within the airline or travel sector is preferred to better understand our specific operational environment.

Event Management: A key requirement for this role is the ability to lead and organize hackathons. The PM will be heavily involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of these events to drive internal engagement and external partnerships.
