We are looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer (Fresher) who is eager to learn and grow in web development and website management. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of PHP and .NET concepts, Git, and CMS platforms such as Word Press (PHP) and Umbraco (.NET).
This role is suitable for someone starting their career who wants hands‑on experience in website development, content management, SEO updates, and working closely with the marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in developing and maintaining websites using PHP and CMS platforms like Word Press (PHP) and Umbraco (.NET).
- Support website content updates such as adding pages, blog posts, images, and media.
- Manage blog publishing, formatting, and updating SEO keywords.
- Work closely with the marketing team to update website content, landing pages, and campaigns.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate with developers using Git workflows (branching, pull requests).
- Assist with plugin/module installation and configuration in Word Press and Umbraco.
- Help with theme/template updates and styling changes.
- Debug basic front‑end and back‑end issues.
- Write clean and well‑documented code.
- Maintain proper documentation for website updates and changes.
- Report progress and issues to the Senior Developer.
- Basic understanding of PHP (variables, functions, arrays, form handling).
- Basic experience with Word Press CMS (content editing, plugins, themes).
- Exposure to Umbraco CMS (.NET based) is a plus
- Understanding of Git version control.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) in Word Press.
- Basic awareness of .NET concepts (for Umbraco CMS).
- Basic understanding of MySQL or database concepts.
- Knowledge of SEO basics (meta title, meta description, keywords).
- Knowledge of hosting environments and deployment process.
- Understanding of website performance basics.
- Experience working closely with marketing teams.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
