Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as an on‑site cyber security expert to design, implement, and manage enterprise and industrial network security architectures
• Deploy and support Forti Gate Firewalls with HA, VDOMs, IPS, AV, SSL inspection and VPNs
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) using FMC
• Implement and maintain Forti
  
  NAC for network access control, device profiling, onboarding, and segmentation
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, and security layers
• Support LAN/WAN networks using Cisco and multi‑vendor platforms
• Implement VLANs, trunking, STP, HSRP/VRRP, and multicast where required
• Support high availability and redundancy designs
• Secure Operational Technology (OT) environments including SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial networks
• Design IT–OT network segmentation using firewalls, zones, and DMZ architectures
• Apply security controls aligned with IEC 62443, NIST, and ISA standards
• Understand industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Profinet, Ether Net/IP
• Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies for critical infrastructure
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and network outages
• Conduct firewall rule reviews, audits, and optimization
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and post‑incident reporting
• Provide Tier‑3 escalation support and mentorship to junior engineers
• Create and maintain network diagrams, security standards, and SOPs
• Support compliance requirements and security audits
• Collaborate with IT, OT, SOC, and application teams
