is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team here in Dubai! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our clients in the MENA region throughout the entire sales lifecycle. As a Sales Engineer, you will own client relationships from initial contact through solutioning, integration, and go‑live. Your role is to solve business and technical requirements using solutions and collaborate with technology and business teams to effectively position our capabilities.
What you will do:- Conduct upfront qualification of merchants’ technical needs.
- Provide product, business and technology knowledge to support pre‑sales activities.
- Design and lead technical and commercial workshops for prospective merchants.
- Translate product, business and technical requirements into concrete solution designs.
- Provide critical technical and solution‑design inputs for proposals, RFP/RFI responses and high‑value opportunities.
- Improve solution‑design quality, documentation and clarity of technical communication.
- Maintain up‑to‑date industry expertise to deliver best‑in‑class, bespoke solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical subject‑matter expert and support the sales team throughout all pre‑sales phases.
- 8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or Pre‑Sales Consultant.
- Experience working in a technical client‑facing role.
- Familiar with API‑based integration methods, best practices and related tools/frameworks.
- Experience with at least one common front‑end (pure JavaScript, React, Angular, etc) and back‑end (Java, .NET, Python, Node, etc) technology.
- Commercially minded.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
- Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to translate technical jargon into business speak.
- Previous exposure to RFI/RFP.
- Very well‑versed in payments; should understand the technicalities inside and out (bonus rather than required).
- In‑depth payments industry exposure with an understanding of related rules, regulations and payment schemes.
