Oracle Cloud Developer - Reports

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Developer specializing in Reporting, Customization, and Extension to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions, application extensions, and technical enhancements for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role requires expertise across Oracle Reporting tools, extensibility frameworks, and a solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud’s architecture, ensuring scalable, upgrade-safe solutions tailored to business needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using:
• Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)
• Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
• Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) / Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) / Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)
• Smart View
• Analyze business reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Build dashboards, KPIs, and custom datasets to meet analytical needs.
• Develop data models, bursting logic, templates, and parameters for reporting across all reporting tools.
• Ensure reports and analytics solutions are performant, scalable, and follow Oracle and organizational best practices.
• Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions for Oracle Fusion Cloud customizations and extensions.
• Develop and maintain extensions using:
• Oracle Visual Builder (VB)
• Oracle Application Composer
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrations
• Fast Formulas and Workflow extensions
• Page Composer for sandbox-based UI customization
• Custom REST APIs and interfaces as required
• Ensure solutions are upgrade-safe and compliant with Oracle Cloud security standards (roles, privileges, and data security).
• Collaborate closely with functional teams, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Provide production support for reporting, analytics, and customization issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Document technical specifications, solution designs, and processes for developed reports, analytics, and customizations.
• Support migrations and deployments of reporting and customization artifacts between environments.
• Assist in training and empowering business users for self-service reporting and leverage of extension frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting, customization, and extension development.
• Strong experience with:
• Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)
• Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
• Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) / Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Oracle Visual Builder (VB)
• Oracle Application Composer
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Oracle REST API development
• SQL and PL/SQL
• Fast Formulas, Workflow extensions, Page Composer
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, or SCM modules and associated business processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud data models, subject areas, and security concepts (roles and data security).
• Experience designing dashboards and reports in FAW/OAC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
