, based in the Jebel Ali Free Zone and responsible for distribution across the GCC, MENA, CIS, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South Africa for musical instruments and audio products, and music education, is seeking a Senior Band & Orchestra Technician
.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Band & Orchestra instruments to distributors and their technicians across the region.
- Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs in alignment with Yamaha’s global quality standards and methodologies.
- Develop and update technical documentation (e.g., service manuals, repair guidelines). Design and deliver structured technical training programs, both in-person and online.
- Lead seminars, workshops, and certification sessions to elevate distributor technician capabilities.
- Collaborate with Yamaha global technical teams to stay aligned with evolving standards and innovations.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement by adopting new tools, techniques, and feedback from HQ.
- Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in repair and maintenance of woodwind, brass, & string instruments.
- Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Demonstrates openness to learning methods and evolving practices; avoids rigid adherence to personal habits.
- Communication
Skills:
Able to clearly explain technical concepts in English (French, Arabic or any other CIS country’s language is a plus). - Training Capability: Skilled in designing and delivering training to diverse technician audiences.
- Team
Collaboration:
Works well with international teams. - Problem Solving: Diagnoses and resolves complex technical issues efficiently.
- Digital Literacy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Mobility:
Willing & able to travel across the region for training and support.
- Full-time based in Dubai, UAE.
- Experience:
Minimum 5 Years in a similar role. - Great expertise in woodwind and String Instruments.
- Candidate should be young and energetic.
